// A Technique To Manifest Solutions and Answers 📽️

The Mental Video Technique: A Step-By-Step Guide To Enlist Higher Intelligence To Conquer Life's Toughest Problems

In 1999, while on his deathbed, mind empowerment pioneer Jose Silva created the Mental Video Technique as his final gift to the world before passing. Despite empowering millions of people to improve their lives through his renowned Silva Method, he considered this technique to be his most powerful one.

The technique is designed to unlock our mind's power to solve any problem we encounter in life. Whether it's grappling with a tough decision, financial worries, a health issue, relationship troubles, or any other problem for which we lack a clear solution. This guide will provide you with everything you need to know about the Mental Video Technique and how to use it to solve problems in your life.


// Accessing Altered States of Consciousness

5 Ways To Relax On Command

The traditional way of relaxing in meditation is by observing and slowing down the breath. While this is a proven and effective way to induce an altered state of consciousness, below are six other simple and effective ways to relax on command that can help you enter a deeply relaxed state during meditation.

1. Heart Coherence

Put your hand on your heart and imagine breathing in and out of your heart. As you breathe, put your entire mental focus on your heart. Keep “watching” your heart as you sense your breath flowing in and out of it.

2. Systematic Relaxation

Starting from your feet and moving all the way up to your head, place your attention on each major body part. Give each a gentle squeeze, release any tension, and allow them to relax.

3. Havening

Gently rub the sides of both arms from below your shoulders to your elbows while thinking of something pleasurable or reciting positive statements. It’s like you are caressing a baby to sleep, except you’re that baby.

4. Countdown Deepening Exercise

In your mind, slowly count down from 10 to 1. On each number, say it a little more faintly and feel yourself getting more relaxed. Optionally, do this while imagining you’re descending in an elevator.

5. Visualizing “My Favorite Place”

Call to mind your favorite place in the world. This can be a real place or one from your imagination. Imagine being there and taking everything in with your five senses.

"Understanding" Presence

You can’t escape the word “presence” when talking about meditation, mindfulness, or any spiritual growth modality. It may seem like “becoming present” is the simple answer to every problem.

But what exactly is presence?

In this short piece, we look at two powerful thought experiments inspired by Eckhart Tolle and Pema Chödrön, designed to help us explore and "understand" enigmatic concepts such as presence, mindfulness, and the nature of thought itself.

These experiments can also be used as an anchor in meditation to navigate racing thoughts and distractions

In his book, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values, philosopher Robert M. Pirsig wrote:

To put this idea of reaching the elusive "top of the mountain" into perspective, he followed up with this gem:

"The only Zen you’ll find on mountain tops is the Zen you bring up there with you."
