Happy Holidays, friends!
I hope, whether you're spending time with family and friends, traveling, or simply enjoying some well-deserved relaxation, you take time over the next week to reflect on how far you've come this year.
No matter what went down in your life this year, I'm sure, if you look back, you'll find it's been a helluva journey. You're still here, wiser, stronger, and ready to take the next step in experiencing whatever this wild sleigh ride of life has in store for you.
But before you look ahead, don't forget to savor this moment, now, right where you are.
In the spirit of the new year and the season of resolutions and goal-setting, I want to share with you an insight that I wrote in my journal a few weeks ago that might be useful for you to hear.
Pause. Let that sink in.
I actually posted the full journal entry on my blog. It's a quick one-minute read, but I think it will give you a different perspective when mapping out your 2024 plans.
Have a great holiday and thanks for having me in your inbox this year. Talk to you in the new year. 🙏🏻

The Two Dangers In Growing Older
Bertrand Russell
Psychologically there are two dangers to be guarded against in old age.
One of these is undue absorption in the past. It does not do to live in memories, in regrets for the good old days, or in sadness about friends who are dead. One’s thoughts must be directed to the future, and to things about which there is something to be done. This is not always easy; one’s own past is a gradually increasing weight. It is easy to think to oneself that one’s emotions used to be more vivid than they are, and one’s mind more keen. If this is true it should be forgotten, and if it is forgotten it will probably not be true.
The other thing to be avoided is clinging to youth in the hope of sucking vigor from its vitality. When your children are grown up they want to live their own lives, and if you continue to be as interested in them as you were when they were young, you are likely to become a burden to them, unless they are unusually callous. I do not mean that one should be without interest in them, but one’s interest should be contemplative and, if possible, philanthropic, but not unduly emotional. Animals become indifferent to their young as soon as their young can look after themselves, but human beings, owing to the length of infancy, find this difficult.

Rewrite Your Past To Manifest Your Future: A Simple Practice To Hack Your Beliefs Through Memory Editing
To create change in our lives, we must first change our beliefs—and beliefs are intricately linked to past memories. But, believe it or not, we can change the way our brain interprets events in our past through creative visualization. This exercise breaks down everything you need to know on how to "mentally edit" memories of the past that could be holding you back.

Hey there conscious creator! Take a look at this quote — which is one of my all-time favorites: Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in...
Hey there conscious creator! An interesting question was posed to me this week: How do I consciously create the life I desire and shift my identity to become the person I know I‘m destined to be when shit keeps happening around me that pushes me further away from that? I love that question — because it strikes at the heart of our journey. Translation: How do you step back into your power when it feels like the outside world is messing with you? Life is unpredictable, and we can't control...
Hey there conscious creator! Welcome to a special “Identity Shifting” edition of the You Are A Conscious Creator Newsletter. That’s right. This edition is all about Identity Shifting! What exactly is Identity Shifting? Identity Shifting is intentionally redefining your self-concept—how you see yourself and your beliefs about who you are to align with the person you want to become. You might be wondering, “Why would I want to change who I am?” Well, reality is merely a mirror—and our inner...
